This 100% cotton Dundy is hand made by us (embroidered by Ophelia) and is machine washable. Body height 17”/width 9”. We also infuse each piece with good karma.
What Exactly Is A Dundy?
A Dundy is the childhood name we gave our Humpty Dumpty stuffed toys made for us by our Grandma Katherine in the early 1960’s. She made one for each of her grandchildren. The original design was created in the 1920’s when Katherine had her embroidery shop in NYC. The outer portion is a 100% cotton pillowcase that can be removed and washed. The pillow inside is muslin w/stuffing that can also be washed separately. We are recreating these Dundys using the same materials and techniques as the valuable originals!
